Daily care of general motorcycles mainly includes the following aspects:

‌ Engine oil and oil filter‌: Engine oil is known as the "blood" of the engine. Regular replacement of engine oil and oil filter is the key to maintenance. It is usually recommended to replace the engine oil after the first maintenance of 300 kilometers or 500 kilometers for new cars, and then replace it every 2,000 to 5,000 kilometers (depending on the manufacturer's recommendations). When replacing the engine oil, the appropriate model and viscosity of the engine oil recommended by the manufacturer should be selected.

‌ Air filter‌: The air filter is used to filter the air entering the engine to prevent dust, SARS and other impurities from entering the engine to ensure the normal operation of the engine. The air filter needs to be cleaned or replaced regularly to ensure smooth air intake and reduce fuel consumption.

‌ Brake system‌: The brake system is a key part of the safe driving of motorcycles, including brake pads, brake oil, brake calipers and other components. Regularly check the wear of the brake pads to ensure that they are within the safe range. When they are worn to the warning line, they should be replaced in time. The brake fluid also needs to be checked regularly for level and color to ensure that it is within the normal range and replaced in time.

‌Chain and transmission system‌: Chain and gear oil are important components of the motorcycle transmission system. Regularly adjust the chain tightness, clean and lubricate the chain to reduce wear and noise. Use special chain cleaners and lubricants for maintenance.

‌Tire‌: Tire maintenance is related to riding safety. Regularly check the tire pressure to ensure that it is within the appropriate range. Check the wear of the tire and whether there are foreign objects embedded, and replace severely worn tires in time.

‌Body cleaning and protection‌: Regularly clean the body to remove body dirt and corrosion. Use special car wax or coating agent to protect the paint gloss and prevent ultraviolet damage. For parts that are prone to rust, apply anti-rust oil or anti-rust agent to reduce the risk of rust.

‌Battery maintenance‌: Check whether the battery connection line is loose and whether the battery liquid level is within the specified range (for wet batteries). When not riding for a long time, the negative pole of the battery should be disconnected to prevent power loss.

Lighting and signal system: Ensure that all lights (headlights, turn signals, brake lights, license plate lights) work properly to improve driving safety at night and in bad weather.
